Getting Started

I offer a free one-hour phone, in-person, or Skype®-facilitated consultation to discuss your specific web design needs and preferences.

During our consultation, we may discuss some of the following items: 
• Any design preferences or ideas that you may already have in mind, such as colors, layout, fonts, imagery, visual feel, site design theme, specific template or WordPress theme, etc.
• Content that you already have or plan to incorporate into your site, such as specific text, images, graphics, page titles, etc.
• Any specific timeline goals for project completion.
• Your level of interest in creating a site that you can maintain and edit yourself once it is live.
• Any specific technology (video, audio, slideshow, photo gallery, social networking feed, etc.) that will need to be presented on your site.
• Anticipated size and scope of your web site.

After our consultation and upon your request, I will provide you a written estimate via email within 2-3 business days.

If you decide that you would like to work with me, I will draft a very basic service agreement and ask that you read it over, sign and return the agreement to me with a retainer fee (usually 50% of total estimated design fee). The remaining 50% balance will be due upon web site project completion.
